Burkhardt Hains (Henns) (Hentz) (Heintz)

Arrived in Philadelphia on November 4, 1754 aboard the ship "John and Elizabeth". Resided near Upper Saucon Township, (present day Lehigh) County, PA for a few years before settling in Richmond Township, Berks County, PA where his children were raised. Long standing member of Zion Moselem Church in that township. Last mention of his name is in 1788 as sponsor of a grandchild. No death or burial records can be found. Assumed to be buried at Zion Moselem Church.

Sarah Strassner (nee Jones)

Born about 1903, possibly in Philadelphia or Williamsport, PA, lived in Reading, PA during the early/mid 1920's, wife of William Strassner. Supposedly died as a result of an automobile accident sometime between 1926-1929. No death certificate exists in PA. Newspaper searches have so far proved unsuccessful.
